Please Help!!!

Car is idling like CRAP!!! (rounding off numbers) 1000rpms down to 500 up to 1000 down to 500 ect ect ect ect. It only does this when the car is warmed up. runs normal until at operating temp. it wants to stall when is tart it up after its been shut off for 5-10mins (if i run into store or bank or something).

2003 Evo VIII

Boost leak. MAF sensor is compensating for the leak. car warms up, hoses expand, allow for more leakage.

i pressure tested it to 25psi ... so maybe check with engine as hot as i can?

Have you changed anything recently? Added something new? Or did it just start doing it one day out of the blue?

one day outta the blue! was minor for a couple days then gradually escalated to the level it is at now. at first i found the diaphram was torn in my BOV, so i replaced that, it helped for a day or two and then right back to normal, i have checked it again, and its still completely new.

my car did the same thing your talking about, it need a throttle body service from the dealer ship.

You know what. It's true. Could be carbon buildup.

I've never cleaned mine.... Going to do it tonight...
