I received a quote from Geico the other week for a 2003 evo VIII and they quoted me at $155/month, which is reasonable consider my age (i'm 20). Today, I asked for a quote for a 2006 evo IX and the quote was $377/month! How absurd is that?!? Is it because the value of the car is higher than that of an 03 evo or are they just trying to gip me? Are there any good ways of reducing my insurance cost?? Any loop wholes? I'm looking into getting an evo and the insurance is just one of the only things making it difficult for me to do so. All this thought of insurance costs is making me remember why I've been riding a motorcycle the past year and a half...
