its just 4th gear that's out. I'm finding out who tuned it. The car he is wanting to trade for has been sitting in my driveway with a for sale sign on it for 10 months. Does anyone remember this build from the past at all? If the 4th gear is stripped and its not just the synchro would it be worth going with a longer 4th gear? If everything is fine and the tranny is the only issue, and its just 4th gear, what are your thoughts on the trade at that point and downgrading and retuning with a twinscroll gt30?

why is 4th gear out?

personally I'd never buy a car that wasn't working (ie tranny)

unless I either knew the person or it was a project car and I had the funding/time to not care if it ran anytime soon

Built 2.3L w/twin scroll 40R. Am I the only one thinking 500awhp is horribly low for the car?

that was sort of my thoughts.. you can make 500+ on a ts gt30 pretty easily ..

The turbo set up on that evo alone is about $5000-$6000 depending on the brand. Even with 4th gear being out, the price is lower than what I paid for mine with just intake and exhaust. I personally don't trust it...
