i would say do what chaotic said and report back, but honestly i think its the combo of getting used to it and the altitude. I fly and 1500ft make a noticeable difference in a little Cessna.

and no to the bosch for ur evo 9, u need the correct ngk's or denso's that will run u like 50$

Higher elevation = less oxygen. Harder for the motor to work. Kinda like the Kenyan athletes. They run/train at much higher elevations, and then compete at sea level pretty much destroying competition in marathons.

idk about that often, sounds like overkill for an everyday person.

I live in Nebraska - elevation 2000 ft. A year ago May we drove to West Virginia and then took the Auto Train to Florida. Nice trip. We were right on the beach, in other words. sea level. And, I found 94 octane in a pump there. WOW, what a difference. The best gas in Nebraska is 91 octane.

My brother lives there and I let him sample my car. He said, "You must be king of the road in Nebraska." No, only in Florida.

you should only use an OE NGK plug especially on an evo 9. and i know what you mean, i bought my car about a month ago, installed a cone filter intake with heat shield instead of drop in filter, replaced plugs, got rid of exhaust leak, and put in a mechanical ses fix to the test pipe for better fuel flow out of injectors. funny thing is after all of this, the car feels slower now than the day i bought it even though it definatly is not lol, you like me are prolly just used to the power now. the car used to scare the """" out of me when i first drove it now its like meh even though it still spins all 4 tires, but everyone that gets in it cant help but scream and grab onto something when im on full boost. NEED MORE POWER!
