yeah evo 7 rr looks great on Red evo!!! my friend painted it himself, and looks really good! and he paid just for paint 20$!! lol

 

I'd be a little leary about going with replica lights. Every one I've seen seems to condensate inside over time. The quality is just not as good as OEM.

I like (and have) the OEM VII tails. Not cheap, but great quality. I think you get what you pay for.

 

i like the jdm lights look, or the evo ix lights

Exactly what I was thinking. Condensation is a b*tch. Plus, I could sell my USDM tails (maybe, haha) and offset the price some!

DEPO tailights are JDM knock-offs...they are decent...
i got my JDM tails for a steal otherwise id get the DEPOs...

 

I'm very interested in the MR black housing (I have a black evo), but there's no way I'm paying $1500 to get the MR originals front and back.

Can anyone post a link to a how-to section for painting the stock 8 tails black ?

I think the EVO VII taillights look the best personally, but you can always save a few $'s and spray them with VHT nightshades to alleviate the look of the aweful VIII taillights.
