All-American Road Trip in my Evo!!

guys,

so i'm thinking about doing a road trip in my evo around the whole country by myself sometime this spring. i haven't planned anything yet, but i'm allocating about 2 months for this trip. i'll be doing research soon and planning the route, stops, duration etc.

at the same time, i'd like to ask if anyone has recommendations on where to visit. i'm more interested in stuff that i cant find on travel/tourism websites. like perhaps the best restaurant, bar, club, beach, hang out spot etc. it could be some place in ur hometown that others don't know about. or awesome events in the spring that i should try to catch.

also any suggestions on lodging or tips for the long haul are appreciated.

thanks in advance.

I agre, Bear Mountain has some nice twistie's and is very scenic too. You could see the city on top of perkins drive (very nice) on a clear day.

If you stop by Montana go to Glacier National Park, plenty of twisty roads and scenic areas.

Don't forget to check out Skyline drive in VA.

http://www.nps.gov/shen/planyourvisi...line-drive.htm

Also there are several VERY fun roads to and from in VA. VA 211, VA151, and tons others.

You can also rock say NY... to MD(some fun roads)... to VA(skyline run) to NC/TN for some GREAT roads. There are many better roads out there than the tail. Ones with almost NO enforcement.

Some other random places, Pocono mountains PA, Fun roads in VT, NH and CT.
Few must see places.. Braodlands mid west, Rockies, DC, Washington monument, STL, Keywest FL(rt1), hover dam, Vegas, death valley, Hell Michigan, man... I can go On and On.

Sounds like a fun trip...
