New noise guys.... :(
When I drive my Evo and I up shift and everything is fine. Well when I downshift from an rpm above 3500 in any gear it makes this weird almost wining sound when the clutch starts to grab.....its very odd. When i let go and the gear engages it goes away. It only happens then. Almost sounds like the transfer case wine but a lil lower pitched. I dont think its the t case tho. Any ideas?

Yeah, the only thing I can guess off the top of my head would be the transfer case. You are downshifting and as soon as the clutch engages it makes the noise. That alone eliminates motor issues. It has to be the transfer case, could be flywheel, but I highly doubt it. Or it could be your syncros. I also would be of better help if I seen a safe video of this noise. Also if you could have someone record you driving by, downshifting and seeing how the noise sounds from outside the car.

Triple check your TC fluid level. When I first filled my TC after changing it, I filled it until fluid was coming out 3 times. Every time i rechecked it I needed to add more. I think its an ACD thing.
