I have a car right now, thats fast just not fast enough, Id liek to know how fast i could be running the 1/4 in with about 10k in upgrades. I dont care much about exterior looks, i think evos look tight as they are. So if i did 10k just in performance what could I be doing??

 

You could drive the evo and buy 10-40k worth of hookers and drugs:P

Seriously, with an Evo and an open wallet, you can go crazy. Look at people like Al. He's got a couple of bucks in his car and it's not too slow.

 

wait wait wait, is it an Evo PLUS $40k or $30k of that IS the Evo? Because you're saying $10k in mods.

 

if you are looking at getting a evo and putting 40k in it I would just get a used something for 70k Or 2 Evo's

 

no im looking to buy an evo for about 30k and then putting 10 into it, lol

 

get your evo and spend the extra $10k on:

1 - AMS big turbo kit (just put down 515whp on stock internals + hks 272/272 cams) + supporting mods like 680 injectors and fuel pump
2 - AMS big turbo turboback exhaust (big turbo kit has a special downpipe that's different from the stock turbo downpipe)
3 - AMS FMIC
4 - Forge BOV (with blue or red high boost spring installed)
5 - SAFC2 + MBC (yep!.. that's what their car is tuned on!)
6 - Dyno Tuning

u'll have money left over!!!

.. however, if you need to (and most of us do):

7 - TEIN flex coilovers
8 - Volk Racing light weight (but sweet looking) wheels

guess what!.. u've got a 500whp monster evo that'll rip up the road courses as well as the drag racing arena!!!

 

No need to answer these posts. Its an exercise in futility. Buy the car, drive it, see parts you like...buy them. Its not rocket science. If you can't drive, you'll run 15's and have a CWest body kit
