Interesting to know Evoardo, thanks for the info! I think it is more of a safety design than constant fog. Kind of like cars from Canada are required to have DRLs.

Hey Rock, just cause this piece isn't on your car or in your closet doesn't mean you have to knock it! In all seriousness, there is that inner problem we all have where the grass is greener on the other side. US folks prefer JDM tails where some JDM-tail folks prefer US tails. Also, the whole Euro-style look works for a lot of people. I think it is just another piece to make our cars look more unique and stand out from others.

 

buy a jdm and cut the hole yourself.
