Lower seats provide a traditional motorsports driving position. The stock configuration is too high with respect to the steering wheel and pedals. Lower seats feel MUCH better. It may not be for everyone, but most people prefer a lower than stock position.

There are lots of threads on the subject here. El searcho....

Maybe, some of the lowering rails will run into the bolts that attach the to frame and this prevents the seat from moving all of the way forward, bad for short drivers. Lowering rails aren't going to get more than about two inches in the Evo.

I know that the Kansai Service one will go all of the way forward

Yes it is more expensive, but it is a quality piece

seems like a quality piece, although there are much other options that provide the same benefit for both cheaper and more expensive. lower seating position provides better driver feel with the car. for lack of better terms, it makes you feel more "one" with the car. great driver mod.

the site says OEM finish, specifically lists the evo for the part item. says does not fit wide seats (be careful bc US cars got the fat people seats vs JDM). it seems as if it would work, but why not call the number at the top of the site just to confirm before you drop 165 bucks? better safe than sorry, right? if you do order, please post a review seems like a decent piece for those not ready to invest in brides.

this combined with a proper racing harness would be a great, inexpensive way to improve driver feel. gl with the purchase!

Also the lowered seat provides more room for a helmeted head if'n you are very tall.

Oh yeah, I felt more comfortable on my friend's lowered seat on his car. Felt nice... Thought it would be nice on the evo.

Sorry if I over looked the OEM part =/

It transforms the whole feel of the car. MAkes her feel more of a go kart then she already is. One of the most noticeable mods I have done.

I am also rocking the Binary seat brackets. Supporting the Evom community.
