Need Help!!

Alright so yesterday i realized my drivers side taillight went out but the brake light still worked, and my drivers side amber drive light went out to. So i was like ok no big deal i went and bought 2 new bulbs. I changed them and still nothing worked, so next step was to check the fuses i found one was blown, changed it and they worked. But after like 2 minutes the lights went out and the fuse was blow again. i changed the fuse 3 times and they blew every time. Now mind you this is on the drivers side only, my guess is maybe their is a short somewhere. If anyone could possibly point me in the right direction that would be great.. Thanks in advance

Well, the fuses keep blowing for a reason. You are going over the allotted amount of amperage for that fuse, this is probably due to a short in the line somewhere. Either the connection is grounding somewhere or the lines are stripped and contacting each other.

Get some electronic contact cleaner and clean out the bulb housings. Check behind the headlight and also near the fuse panel for any stripped or bare wires. If worse comes to worse, get a multimeter and test current at the headlight and also check to see if the line is grounded.

THAT

OR

the grounding source for them fuses isnt fully seated properly on the chasis. if there is an inconsistant ground, you will short your fuses. if this is the case, sand down the chasis area to the metal.

i think u need a car electrician to look at the fuse holder grounding. are u using the right amp, or check to see that the harness going to the bulbs are not open and touching wires
