Driving To Arizona

so i'm going to be in AZ from 13th-20th maybe hang out in LA and LV too, but anywho, has anyone ever drove from houston to phoenix before? non stop? im debating whether i need to tape my front end and what not...and if theres anything i should look out for.

and i know having to cruise control blows

anyways if theres anything going on in that area within the time frame let me know i would like to check out the scene =]

this is my first time driving alone out-of-state.

yea serious i dont understand the whole tape the front end its stupid and a waste of time. Like your going to be missing huge chunks of paint or something chances are whether its taped or not if you hit something its doing to destroy the bumper anyways. Just drive it there and take your req breaks in the action so you dont overwork yourself.

I drove Cleveland, OH to Phoenix, AZ nonstop. 31 hours, in a Ford Ranger haha.

Wouldn't take $$ to ever do that drive again. From texas to Arizona was the most boring drive of my life! All desert and fields as far as you can see, little two lane road, speed limits 75.

UH...no. I've hit more **** driving from CA to AZ than around time. More people travel on the freeways thus clearing the debris to the sides of the roads. But when you're on open the highway, rocks etc don't get cleared as much. Not to mention the dust storms

No cruise control REALLY sucks but at the same time it'll keep you a little more aware. Drive safe
