can anyone give me some helping choosing a set of lowering spring for evo 8? i need to lower my car but dont quite have the money for coilover and not going to anytime soon so might as well drop it on a set of springs...whats the best combination spring rate for street/track? i want a moderate drop..i just did an install of tein s tech springs on a MR and its a good drop but i rate those springs makes your car handle like crap...any recommendation for springs within a budget range and offers good spring rates.. thanks in advance

I would suggest the Swift Spec-R's, I had them and I really liked the way they handled. Everyone that drove or rode in my car said the same.

 

The word "drop" and Evos don't mix, if you want the car to handle as well or better than stock. The suspension geometry won't allow it.

 

^Correct! I was running Tanabe GF 210's on mine, The car looked good but handled worse. I put the stockers back on.
