gm 3 bar question

ok i have a zietronixs wideband with the 3.5 bar map sensor that comes with it. now id like to start controlling boost using a 3 port gm style or better solenoid. so instead of adding another map whether it be gm or jdm would it be possible to use the zietronix sensor and wire it to the cars ecu instead or also?

The map sensor and boost sensor are 2 different things. You can monitor boost with the map sensor and/or boost sensor; but you can only control boost via ECU with the map sensor.

i know that. but there seems to be no sense to me in controlling boost with the ecu if the ecu cant read/log boost also. so my question is still the same

Contact Zeitronix on this one. Their customer service is second to none. They have always returned my emails very quickly. Sometime within minutes!!! Some of them there are also evo guys. I am not completely sure if you are able to run the zeitronix map sensor through the ecu or not or if you would even need to for that matter.
