I am getting my cluch and flywheel replaced. I was told if I replace the hydraulic hose which is made of rubber with a steel braided one it would make the clutch work better. Is that true? Or would I be waisting my time and money. If it is worth while were do I get it from? what company/website do I get it from? Any info would be helpful.

 

I switched when I went from OEM to an Exedy Twin and I do believe it changed the characteristics of the clutch pedal. The travel was much more consistent. I would recommend it.

 

IMO it is a worthwhile mod. It's not very expensive, easy to install, and you get a more consistent & smoother pedal feel.
