Stock 8 with a carbon lip or the C-West bumper get my vote.

I went with the 9 bumper on my 8 and I think its a great subtle change and not too much $$ if you find the right seller.

But always if you like more attention grabbing/aggressive bumpers I would totally go with either the Voltex or C-West front.

That's not how it typically works with Evos. It's common to swap parts within a given model cycle. It's not a wannabe phenomenon.

To answer the question, I'd get the factory IX front clip.

 

I have a IX but i really like the chopped 8...just think it opens the mouth up too much so you see the end tanks on the intercooler...but chopped 8 my vote.
