Ok i have a 2006 GG IX with the Megan TBE and the previous owner had damaged the tip of the exhaust by backing into like a curb or something... I like the look of the Burnt blue tip of the exhaust and i am going to cut that exhaust off and put a new can and tip on... has anyone every tried the can and tips off ebay that look like the Greddy TI-C or the Megan stlye looking ones or any of the ones off ebay?

 

Just make sure you have a muffler shop do it for you. You can find Great buys on ebay and the muffler you are looking at sounds great.

 

x2. I actually bought my Greddy Ti-C used and then contacted greddy for a replacement tip....the exhaust looks brand new after i put the new tip and cleaned the canister ...for half the price.

 

As i said i have the megan and it sounds great and i would love to keep the tone but a little louder at cruising wouldnt be bad and loud as hell at WOT would be amazing! Would the tip change any of that majorly or just slightly since i am only changing the can and tip?

 

Correct me if im wrong but did you post a few pages ago, asking what's the best exhaust out and asking for pics? So you ended getting one and dude before you damage it?
