Yes. It needs to be the trunk lid that does not have the license plate mounting on it.

It will fit perfectly, but you may want to consider lancer trunk springs. If you dont you trunk will spring up like a jungle cat and put undo pressure on your trunk mounting points.

 

i believe the lancer trunks fit from the 02-06 year

 

as others said, yes it will fit. just make sure that the paint matches if your gonna put it straight on without planning on painting it. I don't know about the other colors, but I know for a fact that Apex Silver paint is a bit off-color from the lancer Silver.

Is the lancer trunk lid heavier?

I took off the spoiler on my Evo and the trunk shoots up fast as sh** and I've had zero problems for over 4 years with it off.

you really would want RS trunk springs if you bothered with them at all

I still have the stock springs in mine with no issues as long as you catch the trunk

closed...
