I have used both over the last 12 years and don't really prefer one over the other, only reason I have FIC is running e85 and went with the 2150s!

Fuel system is always something that is tried to be skimped on.. it doesnt bling, you cant see it, its not cool like a turbo but its 1 of the most important things in the car.. Money could be saved on other items a good set of injectors purchased 1x rather than going thru 2 or more sets..

My opinion of the FIC 12,13,14,1500cc is they are JUNK.. Up to 1200cc we run PTE and over that we run ID 2000s..

Mike, you are correct. People always skimp out on the fuel system. I for one made the mistake of having to buy more than one set of injectors!

yeah but technology changes tho.......2 years ago i decided to go 880cc injectors because i was planning on running 93+meth on a 35r. Which was more than enough fuel to run 500whp. But things didnt go according to plan.

So here i am buying ID2000 soon to not worry about any fuel issues in the future

Mike do you have any experience with the new FIC injectors?
Haven't had a chance to try them on an evo yet however , the newest FIC 1100's seem to be really nice just tuned a set on a honda and the idle was way better than the Precision 1000's that were on there previously.
I did tune a set of there 1600's (?) a few years back and they were pretty bad at anything other than WOT.

However ID's are the best they are a bit pricier though, but in the scheme of things a minor dent in the overall cost of the modification of a car that is going to use those 1000's to there potential.

Edit: So after doing some further research. I found out the new FIC 900's and ID1000's use the same base injector and Flow the same. So as far as my reccomendation. The New FIC injectors are it.

I guess you have yet to try the new FIC 1100's? From the injectors I have used over the years these are hands down the best injector you can buy if you don't have a need for the FIC2150/ID2000 variant..

I have been running them for a couple months now and I couldn't be happier.....I recommend you give them a shot if you haven't already - you wont be disappointed. The idle and driving quality of them is simply amazing...They are better in every way over anything PTE offers up to 1200cc.

I also had the ID1000's and i would choose these new FIC 1100's over them every time - just wish they were out before I went through the ID1000 starting issue mess......but i learned a lot in the process so win / win. Just to note the ID and new FIC's use the same bosch injector - the big thing with the FIC1100 is they use the oem plug on the injector and flow more.

I've ran PTE 1000's for a while, now but i'm swapping for some FIC 1650's to go E-85. So I'm looking to sell my PTE's now.
