TPS same as on regular lancer?

Is the TPS (part MD628074) on the evo also the same as any other mitsubishi car like the regular lancer or eclipse? I ask because I broke mine and I dont wanna pay the $200+ for a used one, I was thinking maybe I could just pick one up at the local junkyard for a few bucks.

Also I've heard it needs to be calibrated? Can anyone tell me how to do this?

i found the tps for cheap on partsgeek.com. im not sure if it's the same on the other cars. you adjust it by putting a voltmeter lead into the #2 terminal, (the middle one), and the other lead into the negative terminal of the battery. with the key on engine off, loosen the tps so you can move it by hand. not too much, cause you need to tighten it up when you hit your desired voltage. put the voltmeter to 20V and put it at .06-.08v closed and 5.0v when you fully open the throttle. open and close it a couple of times to make sure its all good. good luck!
