Exclamation Service Engine light!?

I went to pep boys pulled the code and it was P0183 Fuel temp sensor reading high?

Anyone ever get this code? What could be the issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

you might have a bad sensor on the tank, but there's a series of tests you have to go through to figure it out, a bunch of testing voltages at differant places

yeah i found someone who is selling the whole fuel pump housing, a friend of a friend. He is kind enough to see if it fixes the problem before I purchase it.

I wonder what causes the sensor to go bad?

I'm running e85 and i'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. The strange thing is everything was good for a month on e85 until I took it to a local shop to install a 25mm rear sway, and then all of a sudden the damn service engine light comes on... low and behold p0183 code.

I remember the local shop had to remove my muffler to get the sway on (im running jic coils), and then a customer i was blocking in the garage had to leave so they moved my car without a muffler(mid pipe ziptied) so the customer could leave. They finished installing my rear sway and as I'm about to get on the freeway heading home I noticed the service engine light. Strange timing on the service engine light.

I'm totally stumped and I can't find anyone who has pulled this code.

from what I was reading in the book to help you out is that the sensor should only have about 5 volts or something like that, but like I said there's a series of tests to go through, I think there is a realay involved and checking a harness on the passanger side behind the glove box etc. etc.
