B-day Presents

So tomorrow is my twin and I's 23rd b-day. He has a IX rs and I drive an IIIV. I got him a walbro 255 and a cone filter for his b-day. Now, for myself(my b-day present to myself), I have rouhgly 1-2k to spend on stuff. I make 330 whp and about 310 wtq. I have buschur tune, 3" TBE, intake, hks 272, buschur MBC, IX blow off, and apr head studs. I'm up for power mods, but am leaning towards suspension/wheels. Anybody got any ideas (best bang for buck) for the 1-2k price range? I'm interested in everyones opinions and what they would do from here. Oh yeah i also have exedy twin disc hd installed. Love this forum, it has been a huge help for trouble shooting and gen info for the car, and just wantt to say thanks to everyone especially David Buschur.

Sounds like you have a good set of mods right now. I hear a lot of ppl are happy with BC coilovers and are decently priced! You could also go with springs which would be cheaper. It all depends on what you are going to do with the car as well? Any plans to race/autocross it bc if so you may want to go with a different suspension? As far as wheels, Rotas are really popular but again it all depends on your preference. Some ppl do not like to buy replicas and stick with volks, etc. I am personally going to get a set of Rotas once I have the cash and I hear Dan takes really good care of everyone. Enkei's are really popular as well and a little more expensive than Rotas. You will probably be right around 2k there or close to it! Don't mean to go off topic but I see your in Cincy, where about in Cincy and what color VIII do you have? I'm in northern Cincy in Maineville. Also, if you haven't done so check out the midwest region SW Ohio thread. All in all it really comes down to personal preference and what you are going to be using the car for.

If you're getting coils, avoid Megan, BC Racing, whatever's cheap. You have to get something like KWs to be decent for driving around.

I'd just get springs and wheels. $300 would get you some good swifts and you have like what, $1000+ left for wheels? Maybe RPF1s but that's just me.

i have some tanabe pro-spec coilovers they are pretty nice i noticed a good difference with them didnt have the money to get the the five series they have. I would get some IC piping to if you dont have it boost power gains a bit. as far as wheels I have to Konig runaways in black they look pretty sick not many people have them to.
