Would an Evo VII CF spoiler fit an Evo VIII ? ?
evo 8 wing is full carbon and i know for a fact ! evo 9 is carbon in the middle and plastic on the sides, evo 7 is full plastic but adjustable and will fit on a evo 8-9

Not trying to be an a$$hat but you can say that the guy is some what correct, it is 100% carbon fiber reinforced plastic, but not 100% carbon fiber. Pure carbon fiber without even UV coating would look dull, probably less than 50% of mass or volume of CFRP counter part, and would be more brittle, stiff but brittle

Just had a chat with a guy working at mitsu. And he says their data shows all CT9A have carbon bits on their oem wings which was started by the Evo7. He says its probably like the 9 which has a cf middle. But he cant really confirm if this works for all 7 models coz lots of part numbers showed up with different colors and some having a note "carbon fiber".

The Evo 7 wing is not carbon fiber. If you are looking at an ad for a full CF VII wing, it's not real... Or at least not oem. The trunk size is the same and the wing would fit the trunk length, but you may be doing some bondo fills and painting, and drilling. The bolts might not fit the 8/9 holes. Also, the 7 wing sits lower, the angles of the supports are different and the 8/9 wing looks better in my opinion. U wanna get a different wing? Go big.

ahh the evo 7 is CT9A... same chasis as the evo 8 and 9, you will have to drill the bolt holes if you want to swap between evo 7 wings and evo 8/9 wings. Also the evo 7 wing is not carbon at all it is just adjustable

CT9A chassis code= Evo 7, 8, 9. Can't you see see their bodies being the same?? Yeah pls. knock the dust. Oh and I don't remember reading a rule where you can't revive an old thread. Like I said its just for reference. And maybe my mitsu buddy is wrong about the CF part but sure heck their data shows Evo 7 = CT9A.

So, this is my Evo vii. It has CP9A etched in the firewall and written on the Japanese title. Where do you get your reference? Wikipedia? I'm done arguing chassis codes. Also, if you look at the back here you can see the lack of carbon fiber.

As for the CF discussion that confused the mitsu guy... (this is the bottom part of the image above)
It shows different rear wing part numbers with Carbon Fiber notes. But checking again, it looks and feels plastic, but adjustable.
