Evo 8 to 7 Rear Bumper conversion?

Alright here's the scoop. My 05' Evo 8 is currently being shipped to me and I'm looking into idea for body modifications. I want to keep it fairly simple yet stand apart from other Evo owners. I like the idea of the JDM Evo 9 rear bumper on the 8 but the mod seems so cliche. Also the Evo 9 diffusers (and the Voltex diffusers) don't seem very functional. I'm wondering if the JDM Evo 7 bumper will fit on the Evo 8 and to what extent?

Thanks in advance for the input!

I think they are too. But what I meant to say was that my car is a USDM and I want to fit it with the JDM rear.

did you have to do anything with the rear crash beam? BTW, your car looks so clean I like that look.

i removed mine completely. but you can easily modify to make it fit. or you can buy an aftermarket crash beam.

I believe they are both the same the 7 bumper is a little bit more square. No interest in a 9 jdm rear?

both JDM 8 and 7 have the same bumper. which looks like mine up top. IMO i didnt like that fake diffuser look of the JDM 9, but thats just me.

Vivid i will be calling you soon for that chopped nose bumper, good job on that!!!

We brought them in years ago for a one-time sale. Unfortunately due to the very small demand, I don't believe we'll be offering these again.

Cool

The JDM 7/8 rear bumpers look to similar to the USDM rear bumpers to justify the mod IMO.
JDM 7/8 = MR954189 (white)
JDM 9 = 6410A380WA (wa = white, ra= red, hb = grey)
