This happened a while back and I'm just thinking about if it can be repaired. But basically the front crossmember has three attachment points for the front brace. I drove over a hidden post on the side of the road that hit the front brace and caused the one of the attachment point to just get torn off of the crossmember. The other two mounting points on the crossmember are fine but one on the left side was just torn and bent around.

I'm wondering if it's going to need to be replaced or if it can be welded back together with a new custom piece.

 

I would talk to a local bodyshop, really gotta see it in person to tell you exactly. Pictures would help. I do lots of frame and body work, so i might be able to help.
