Don't be too concerned with the powdercoat as long as it isn't flaking. The stuff is hardcore. Wash it well and get any loose particles off with a soft wire brush.

Thanks SpoolinUp. I am going to run it for a few weeks then drain the oil and see if i have any issues.. IDK will shall see.

I ran mine through the dishwasher (while rents are away haha) a few times with no soap. also at a few angles, stuff is asking to get trapped up there.

The PC isn't a problem but the abrazive material that's trapped behind those baffles is.

The ONLY way to get all the grit out is to take the baffles out and clean it.
