thoughts of selling your evo

well i have mine for sale as of now... of course that bug hits every guy every so often that its time for something fresh or maybe you just wanna get outta the whole tuner/ race game. im very much torn between getting a brand new chill car and if the car doesnt sell then i wouldnt honestly be upset.. everytime i jump in the evo and and just press down the highway the speed and the boost just feels great. how many of you have been going through this or already did so ? also have any of you downgraded say going from an evo to just a regular chill type car impala, fusion, yaris, fit etc... im curious to see what everyone on here has been through

I will never sell either of my evos, They are amazing cars. Ive had so many good memories in them. Out of all the cars ive driven in my life (luckily have driven alot), its still one of the best. Keep the evo

I traded mine for an R33 Skyline GTS25T M spec. It wasn't the same performance of my evo, but its a Skyline. Now I'm upgrading from the GTS25T to an R33 GTR mildly modified to 500AWHP. Anyway, I do miss te evo at times, but believe once I sit in the GTR, those thoughts wil go away! :-) .....for now! As you said, I had a lot of memories in my Evo.

I've considered mine multiple times

but it's paid off and it's been a reliable daily driver for me through the years

the number one reason I haven't let it go...everyone that ends up selling seems to regret it and tries to come back to the evo

since it's paid off, you have time to relax and test drive cars at your leisure. go drive a couple of the cars you want and compare. i actually kept mine, since it's paid off, and just bought a truck. when i go from the truck, (even though it's a fast truck), back into the evo, i can fully appreciate what i have in the evo. other cars can't compare to the all-rounder.

I agree, if i had a gtr the evo would be forgotten quickly.

I thought about selling mine a couple times. An Rally Red IX with only 14k miles I bet could get some good $ and its all paid off to boot. Thats when I was considering getting a Supra but once you get big #'s your always trying to get traction.. Still one of my dream builds is a black e30 M3 with a built S54 motor and a FP HTA3582.

I had mine up for sale for like 2 days...was gonna get a 2010 or 2011 X depending on what was out whe nI got back from the desert. I ended up deciding to keep the girl and get an X later on down the road.

My idea of a chill car would be an AMG C63. Thats gonna be my retirment car, screw a vette Im a sedan kinda guy I guess.

As to the OP, I'd keep it unless you have some major problems.
