wb02 sensor

wb02 sensor

most people say to place it in the downpipe. But i have installed an hks hi power exhaust and it has an 02 bung in it . and i currently have a gutted cat and want to install a straight pipe but am thinking if i get one with a 02 bung in that could i install the wb in their and get accurate readings

if its placed there it shouldnt make much of a difference appossed to it being in the downpipe...i wouldnt think so at least i mean its only a couple feet...when i install mine that i will be picking up shortly im gunna do the downpipe but thats just me

most oxygen sensor manufacturers recommend that the sensor be closer to the downpipe and turbocharger.
