So I was trying to locate my ACD valve cause my ACD keep losing its fluid...so I need to find where its leaking..

Since I couldnt see much without jacking the car up, I took my camera to take some pics where the eyes couldnt see

While looking at the pics, I found some kind of hose or electric wire kinda bent and in bad shape...

so the question is : WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!! (pic taken from passenger side from the front of the car toward the back)





and by the way, I havent found the valve..

 

That's the oil temp sensor for the factory gauge pack. I'm guessing you don't change your oil....

You're both wrong. That connects to your flux capacitor.

 

I guess that why im not getting any readings from that gauge under the radio? (only one working right now is the one for the turbo (.bar)..

I just bought the car a couple weeks ago and trying to find out all the things that I must take care of as soon as possible.. the guy who sold it to me was not really taking care of it when it comes to maintenance and fluids. The prestone was almost empty... acd plastic container EMPTY, NO FLUID!!!, thank god the ACD lights went back to normal once I filled it but now I must bleed it soon, I dont know how much time its been empty.. the pump is working at least..) Also the power steering fluid was getting a bit low but still fine..

so there I am , trying find and solve problems with no one around who know anything about these car (canada) so its pretty much me alone and some mechanic friends..

 

You will notice as you drive, the ACD reservoir will get to around the low mark which is normal. It will slowly start rising once the car is shut off. There is a write up how to bleed the ACD on here somewhere. You could always take it to your local Mitsu dealer as well to have it bled but I'm not sure how much that will cost. I'm guessing the oil temp gauge doesn't work because of the sensor itself. My gauge works sometimes when it feels like it. Flick the gauge and see if the needle moves, it may just be stuck. It definitely sounds like the owner beat on that car. I wish the best of luck to you and hopefully you have no major problems down the road.

 

The owner bought it from a guy in california and imported the car to canada. lucky he has had the car for only about a year but still, I dont know what the other owner did to the car. It seems like it has been part of some show because I can see some drawing left in my rear window : "OCTOBER 2006 NEW ERA NCO ORGANIZATION" ... at least thats what it seems to have been written from what I can see.. Also theres been a pod/gauge attached to the drivers left pillar because I can see some hole left in the plastic and the plastic is a bit loose... OH and I also found a disconnect red neon under the hood on the firewall... ahh..god what else am I gonna find

At least the car is not VGA, ... now all I need is to repair this darn AC leak.. I'll see what I can find this week end after jacking the car, for now I leave the beast in the driveway.... also I will probably change ALL fluids, cant take any chances.
