Prep for Rallycross
Prep for Rallycross
I'm about to participate in a rallycross event coming up soon.
Anyone have any experience or input on the subject?
Pretty new to the Evo world. Had my 2003 Evo since February. Currently have stock suspension on 1" lowered springs. Should I go back to stock springs for this? The course will be dirt/grass/gravel and pretty level. Also will have winter tires on stock rims. Car is basically stock. Turboback exhaust, IC piping, intake.
Anyone have any tips on prepping for rallycross, that would be great! As in, maybe get an undertray, bring spare tires?
Thanks for the input!

You'll be fine. Just make sure everything is nice and tight. I've done plenty of rallycrosses (none in my evo though, but in my impreza). I'm assuming it's your first? Just go out and have fun!! Don't worry about getting super fast times on your first rally-x. Learn how the car reacts to different throttle and brake inputs, it's completely different than auto-x.
Make sure to get the car dirty!!
