Nisei LICP fitment with Perrin intercooler?

Hey, I have a question for anyone with a Nisei LICP and Perrin intercooler. My LICP sits a little lower than the inlet for the Perrin intercooler. It makes the coupler look all deformed and I would think that it doesn't help the airflow much. Did any of you guys have this problem? Should I just unscrew the LICP brace so I can move the pipe up a little so it'll be closer to the Perrin inlet? Anything wrong with not using the Nisei LICP brace?

Why not just drill a new hole to mount the LICP up higher?

I have this set-up. I just cut the mounting bracket off, you don't *really* need it.

Besides that it bolted up great.

i thought my nisei licp fit funky with the stock ic, it seems a little bit off though so i guess it might just be the design of the licp

You could cut off the bracket or drill another hole higher up to make it fit better. I like the nisei because it has the bracket but it doesn't have any problems with my ETS fmic so yeah
