Whats your point? That this car is more to maintain than a Ford Escort??

Besides, all that you have posted reafirms what I said already..

i would also like to reply to angel of mercy's post about all those things that "wont work". So your telling me that if i put cheap tires on my evo it wont run at all? Or will it just not go straight?
Will cheap oil simply not work at all? Like will cheap oil make the car only go left?
The same goes with everything you said.
Just because you buy the best of everything for your car doesnt mean everyone else does
(I personally give my car the best of everything)

Jumping: YES
Donuts: YES!
mud/rootn: ...confused...

I've always thought that buying a used sports cars was a bad idea. Somewhere down the line the car hs been beat on and there is a large possibility of major repairs being done. Yes buying a new car will cost alot more but you don't have to worry about unseen issues caused by a previous driver. I'd only buy a used evo if I had some sort of record on the car or there were aftermarket parts already on it. ie clutch

For instance I have my front messed up and took it to a shop and had it fixed under the table. No record of ever having any damage and the only way to tell is the vin #'s don't match up, even though they were taken off. So now you can't even tell and you could only speculate. I never plan on selling my evo unless the mob threatens to break my thumbs so its all ok in the end.

Nope... giving your car the best of everything will help prolong the life of your car.. it wont make it go left only... giving your car poor tires will only put your life in danger coz a powerful car needs good shoes or you'll find yourself meeting brick walls or ravine floors. Ever tried running a 100m sprint on japanese slippers?

I'm pretty sure cheap oils in the engine would work but i wouldnt want to buy your car second hand... it would be full of sludge.

I only buy the best for my car because i love my car... and i drive my car to kingdom come and back.. and its always ready for more... a Ferrari could be a low maintanence car too.. put in a few quarts of $2 oil, some $40 tires and you are good to go... would you like some 87 RON fuel to go with that???

Make more sense now? I always thought you guys would have more intelligence than to take my words at its core meaning... ever thought of taking up English classes?

I drive like I'm hoping to pass it on to my son when he turns 16. He's 20 months old right now. I'm just waiting to get to a track to let her loose.

Did you have a need to critise me on your previous post? If you had understood the statements taking into account that i am not stupid, then we wouldnt even have had this conversation in the 1st place... but i will still apologise if you think i have insulted you and you felt that it was not necessary since you did not have the intention of insulting my 'stupidity'. Chill...

I've dumped the clutch a few times. Besides, when a F-150 Lightning, w/360hp, is trying the hell out of you at a stoplight, what would posses you not to dump the clutch and smoke the hell out of him like I did last week.

You too?? I hooked around a stopsign on a Lightnings *** and when I saw his *** dump..I knew he "wanted some".

I was in second gear faster than you can say "spool"..

I was on him till he shut her down..

As he looked in his rear view mirror I just waived as if to say..

"yeah, still here buddy"..
