Unhappy I lost my perfect partner in crime...

On june 26 at 4 in the morning leaving work i was on my way home when 10 ft away from the turn to my house a deer jumped out in front of the car. I needed new tires and i knew this but i still swerved to try to miss the deer and get back on the road. little did i know that there was no ground next to the road. just a 25 ft drop off...

i came out with only a scrapped knee. but my heart hurts knowing that my 06 evo mr did not. i was not speeding or racing of that nature. just driving home from work. its so weird i never noticed how the road drops to nothing where i fell off.

Ive been in a downed state of mind. i know i survived and thats the good thing but im missing my evolicious so much. i don't know what to do except look for another one but it feels so wrong. that was my evo and no one elses.

It just got a new engine (for a $100)put in through an extended warranty dispute that took 2 months to process along with an exedy stage 1 clutch kit 2 months before that. it was bone stock before that.

should i go for another evo? and try not to feel like i replaced my baby or move on to something else? is there life after an evo?

I'd get the car back from the insurance so you can still use all the good parts that are still left on her. Wrecking cars always sucks and I deff know where youare coming from on this one...just have to pick up the pieces and start over again.

Good luck and remember in the end it's just a car, it took me years to get over losing one of my first builds but that's the truth i've come too.

Deng, i'm sorry for you lost, at least you're okay though. You can repair material parts, life you can't.
And I am sure you'll get another one soon. Just look on the bright side. Things could of went or gone worst. \:

well your life > evo. You got an angel looking over you falling that high. Go salvage old parts if you can. My suggestion is to look at some more MRs and even look at a X. See how you after that. I bet you'd be stoked again!

Thanks for all the support. I am very thankful to be alive and indeed it did save my life in the end. Ive made up my mind and will be searching for another Evo in the future. Right now its time to save up and start again i guess.

As far as pics go, Ill post some up soon. Also on the buying back from the insurance, they wanted 4000 for it. I couldn't start a project like that. Pics will explain later.

Again thx for all the uplifting

Don't worry man. Just pick up the pieces and don't look back. Think of it this way, you may not get the same evo back, but you can just as easily pick up its twin brother waiting for you in the for sale section or auto trader.
