Twin turbo evo-- is this a repost?

i understand why they are only making 483hp @ 29psi but something doesn't seem right.. i think what they were after was all out engine response and drivability what do you guys think?

I am not sure who loses 24% through the drivetrain other than a car with an auto, but it seems that a 2,4 MIVEC motor with a smaller turbo could make very similar numbers. Perhaps not on pumpgas but I dont see too many people who would spend the money for that setup racing on pumpgas and limiting themselves.

Not worth it IMO. I'll stick with a bigger single turbo.

is there a dyno available for the car? Maybe the 2 small turbos have them putting down big numbers at 2500rpms. Be a great track car if so

it makes max torque and power around 3k from what they are saying. that would mean this car is prol a handful to drive on the street

I wont speak for them but this is our tech Jake's 2.4 car-

It lights the 255s up on demand. I would presume that there car making 600 ft lbs wouldnt be happy on anything less than slicks. Perfect for the hill climb app it sounds like the car is intended for.

twin turbo has great potential to make a broad power band. but from what I have seen the only dyno results that are impressive are the ones from norris designs. he hasnt released info on the setup yet. but his had the flattest, broadest 600ft tq I have seen to date. the results from this car here dont look a whole lot better than a well setup FP black. from what I have seen everyone keeps using too large of a primarary turbo. 50 trim size. so they end up with 50 trim like boost curve. the primary turbo needs to be smaller than a 16g if you want to get a broad low/high rpm power band. there a guy on DSM forums that used a 16g as primary but it has been over a year and a half and he hasnt sorted it well enough to get a dyno session done.

"if the answer is simple, God is answering"
I have yet to see a heavenly setup/result......

here is the graph of said setup. lower curves are fp green. now thats a torque curve! its just killing the green starting at 2500rpm...
