Boost Drop

Boost Drop

Hi Guys,

In another thread of mine i was advised that my load was dropping fairly low up top around 200-210

My Boost hits 23.5psi at peak load to around 17-19psi by redline, still on stock Evo8 Turbo with S2 274 cams.

Is this ok or is my boost falling off really fast? Im using a AEM Tru Boost to manage boost, my settings are high 50's DC and about 3 Crack pressure

Have you checked for boost leaks? You should be holding more than 17psi to redline.

Yeh ive done a boost leak check not long ago, its hard to see the gauge and drive also ill confirm on my way home from work tonight if i can, but i think its more 19psi at redline from a 23.5psi peak

Another thing i have noticed is it flucterates a bit too.

Can the settings in my Tru Boost be out causing this?
