cant wait man. This will be a good thread. Oh and my best memory so far, was in 2008 I think, or it may have been 07. AMS ran their drag evo and right as it crossed the finish line the drivers side door completely flew off!

It would be cool if this could travel. The states on the east coast are much smaller so driving 10 hrs from Massachusetts will get you to Ohio, where as I drive 10 hrs from Colorado and I am only one state over and 5 to go.

So maybe in time this can travel like a NOPI.

Ive been, It is crazy at the hotels, and every thing about it. everywhere you go in the whole town, every store, every food place, every red light.. there are evos and dsms everywhere. Its really unbelievable. Everyone you see or meet has the same interest as you do. You really have to go to believe it. Everyone was really cool too. I drove from okc, and its worth the trip. Im really gonna try to make it this year as well.

Should we expect DSport coverage at the event? I pretty much have a lifetime subscription and I'd love to see, at least, an entire DSport DVD dedicated to the event. I'm tired of watching about the Tokyo Auto Salon.

I smiled reading the part where Dave jumped all over the place and hugged the AMS guys! Thats true joy!

My BlackBerry shows me a reminder on the screen everytime I scroll over the calender about The DSM Shootout! If I had the time and the money, would definitely fly my car all the way for this event! Something you HAVE to be a part of... atleast ONCE!
