Took a while but I found it. I had posted a thread a while back stating I'm losing my SE lip with no real help to be had. Saw my buddy Golgo in need and figured I would chime in. This is my only viable solution to hopefully never have to worry about it again. Watch the video too.

http://www.extremedimensions.com/10960.html

I know it's not the SE lip but it's close. You may like some of the others on their site.
I know it would be a lot more upfront cost considering it would need to be painted but I think you may never need to get a new lip again. I talked to the rep and it's all one piece even though the lip looks separate. I figure when I get to where you are at I am not going to want to be replacing this thing every weekend!

Hope this helps!

The actual bumper is the one on the far right (3 pics) in black. Some of those pics are whack and not even close to the stuff the rep sent me.

Good looking out man, appreciate it.

Is this for a whole bumper or just a lip? That link looked like it was for an 'Evo MR bumper':
MR Edition Front Bumper.

Extreme Dimensions' new Duraflex premium aerodynamics combine fiberglass, plastic, and flex resins to obtain its unique features. The new Duraflex technology obtains a much higher durability rate than the average fiberglass product, resulting in reduced shipping damages up to 75%. Duraflex products feature a black primer finish, high quality mesh grille, hardware kit, and an installation guide to help you install the product. This revolutionary product allows you to receive a premium fiberglass product at an affordable price. Due to high consumer demand, our entire fiberglass line of 5,000 products have been converted to the new Duraflex technology.

I have the cheap one, its fine except its not a snap on piece. I ended up basically zip tying the thing on.

Bumper and lip. All one piece. I am aware you were looking for cheap but sometimes it might be cheaper to fix it for good. Just giving you some options. If I were you I might grab one of the lips mentioned earlier in this thread and see how long you keep it on. You could always do the bumper/lip combo if you continue breaking it.

I'll probably get the cheaper lip to start and see how it handles at the track. If I end up losing it again and damage the bumper to a point I can't bolt up another lip, I'll go with something like that.

I know some people were able to get it installed without showing , maybe professionally?

it is soft enough that it doesn't break looking at a curb.

I don't have any pics. I deleted them cuz I'm not currently in the market for one. I also wanted to see what their jdm rear bumper looked like in raw form. It was ok I guess. Has a seam of sorts where you cut out a hole for the exhaust. Problem is there is a seam on both sides for some kind of lame looking dual exhaust set up. My driveway is so steep that I continue to grind down my lip no matter how I approach it. Not sure how I might replace it when the time comes. Might be easier to just keep buying cheap lips.

I'm at a point right now where I just can't afford to keep getting OEM lips and repainting them, it's just not worth it.

I'd rather have function > form. I want my car to perform at the track, I can give a $hit if the front lip is painted.

Question:

What is the difference between this lip:

http://www.baysonr.com/Mitsubishi_La...c-f-evo8ss.htm

and this lip:

http://www.rexpeed.net/new2007/produ....php?serial=93

Other than $150 in price?? The Rexspeed lip looks very high-quality and I am a big proponent of "you get what you pay for" but if I can save $150 on this I might give it a try.

I don't want poor fitment and I don't want it to crack/fade/go yellow/peel in 6 months. What do you recommend??

Contact Russell @ Mitsubishiparts.net, he's here on EvoM.

I think the lip runs around $250 and it only comes in WW.

Rexpeed makes some really nice stuff but you still have to tally all the shipping and taxes. The OP lives in Cali and I'm pretty sure Rexpeed is in Cali so state sales tax also. Plus who wants to thrash something thats looks as nice as the Rexpeed stuff. I would go with el cheapo and beat the crap out of it!!
