13 weeks O.o? Man I'm happy I'm just doing a refresh/rebuild. I'd go nuts if I had to track down a block etc, but then again I'd be overnighting parts. I'm just lucky the shop owner let me slide up the ranks as far as project order O.o

well theres not really much you can do when your waiting for your car but being a mechanic and shop owner i can say its definitly better to find something else other then staying on them but on the other hand it is your right to keep on them your the customer! but try video games and movies!!

I noticed a lot of replies say they are deployed. I'm going to have to say the same thing. I am on the last week of a 7 month deployment on a Navy ship. My wife tells me that the tires are flat, and the battery is dead. She can't drive a stick, so the car has just been sitting there since January. I'm sure I have a lot of work to do when I get home.

As far as keeping my mind off while I am away from my car... I researched more things to add to my car when I get home! I have a great sound system all planned out already!

LOL, that is the nature i guess...i had the same problems..kept thinking all the parts were in to find out they were weeks out.

I starting airing stuff in and upgrading to nicer parts to get the build moving, lol.
