Need help spicing up my engine bay. What can i rattle can?

Well guys, i know this is a bit of an odd request, but here goes nothin. I'm not too savvy when it comes to building engines and all that nonsense, but i would really like to spice up my engine bay a little bit. I plan on replacing all of my silicone hoses and cleaning it up a bit, but i would like to throw some color in there also. What in my engine bay could i paint myself? Easy things that i can take off, rattle can in a day or two and put back on. Are there how-to's to this as well? Also, my valve cover is all chipped up, is it possible to rattle can this as well? Thank you.

Take off your intercooler pipes and paint them up all nice. Clean them very very well. Painting is all a about the prep work. The better you prep the better it will look. I used autozone like candy red paint on my crome intercooler pipes and intake now they are all blood red like the valve cover and it looks great.

Take off you strut tower bar and paint it too. I painted mine black then in white letters it says F**k THE POLICE. Its by far the most talked about mod on my car by far and it only cost 15 bucks to do.

Do something functional. Like gold foil your ic pipes. You may or may not like that look but it does serve a purpose. Don't turn your evo into a glorified Honda. Next you'll be painting your dash peices and finding yourself at autozone more than you want to admit. Haha

Grab a clear cam gear cover, adds a little life to the bay.

I would love to have everything powdercoated, but its a little pricey, and the build that i have started has a long ways to go. I dont want to spend much money on the looks when i need all the money i an for the performance build. I just want to know some of the things that might be simple or cheap to do. I am putting my car down for the entire winter, so i have plenty of time to do all of this.I want to start getting ideas and supplies for the winter now. That way next spring she will be finished up and ready to go!
