Has anyone replaced the rear seat plastic on an SSL seat? The car is an 04 and the rear plastic back cracked and looks like crap...where can I buy a replacement and how hard is it to replace it?

You talking about the front seats? Those are like 2000 dollars for the seat back.

 

I don't think they sell just the plastic, so to replace with new you are looking at buying the whole seat back, which as stated is near $2k. Your best bet might be trying to repair it, or maybe epoxying it together and fiberglassing over. It won't looking factory, but would probably be acceptable if done well.

 

would a donor seat back from another evo 8 seat work?

 

Yes it will the stealership replaced mine when it cracked. It only took 6 months of fighting to get it fixed under warranty and about 30mins for them to do it
