Hey guys i purchased a 05 WW Evo8 about a month and a half ago. i have been buying the neccesary mods.
-Megan 02 housing
-Megan downpipe
-STM test pipe
-Espelir JGT500 catback
-AEM Wideband
-Defi Boost Guage
-Intake Cone
I think thats it im looking to get my car tuned relatively soon and i ordered the 3 guage pod for the lower console, i also ordered a oil pressure guage and a hallMan Boost controller.
- I am looking for your advice members of Evom. I like the boost guage were i have it on my steering column and i need a third guage to fill my pod for the center i have a wideband and a prosport oil pressure. what other guage is good? i dont want just a fill in i want a usefull guage. thanks

My Second Question is opinionated but i would like yours and pics if possible. i had a small piece of cancer under my wing it was literally less than half the size of a dime. well i fixed that up sanded it down primered and since i work at toyota well the white doesn't match up haha. Well i was planning on going wingless anyway but i am undecided on how. do you guys on here like the WW With carbon? i was looking to get a carbon hood and trunk. i also know you can get a trunk off a regular lancer so there are no holes but is the lancer white the same? So how do you guys feel about this i personally love white with carbon hood's and trunks. i also preffer the evo wingless with a vortex generator. but i would like your opinions so please let me hear them. THaNKS!

 

As far as the gauge goes I would say temp. Not sure about the exact match for lancer white to evo white. Carbon looks good with white in my opinion.

 

i like carbon in white to i think they are a good match i just have a hard time making up my mind because i take what people say to heart. and what oil temp?

 

I also like Carbon trunks and hoods on a WW Evo... Wingless trunk of course! So i say go for it! And for the gauge.... hmmm... well a temp. gauge

 

For a street car I would go with a wingless lancer trunk. If you are going for a light weight track car, I would say carbon. With as few mods as you are doing, I wouldnt spend the money on a carbon trunk. Id use it on a nicer lip.

 

I went with oil temp as my third gauge...my personal opinion is wingless and no large carbon body panels, just small carbon accents.

 

but will a white lancer trunk match the WW?
