My crashed evo is in the shop, I need a new cat back exhaust

I like this one, however, i read somewhere that it tapers to fit stock cat back.

I have a 3 inch test pipe, will there be an issue?

 

well you must decide how much you like it. If you are willing to cut off the taper and weld another piece of pipe to make up for the length you cut off, then no, it isn't a problem. It's really no big deal, you can find small sections of pipes for cheap

 

Id rather not need to do that much modification... Should I be looking for a testpipe back system??

 

what downpipe are you using.

I know for my car, they make cat deleting downpipes and then I just got a 3" catback.

You should be able to find a cheap catback that is 3" without a taper for the stock cat.

try ebay...I mean it is only a pipe

 

I dont know what downpipe I am using, and my test pipe is 3 inches..

I ordered an invidia n1 from rallysport, they just emailed me and said it is out of stock and I dont have that much time to wait while the evo sits in the shop because progressive does not want to continue my rental after the 30th or so
