Hey everyone,
I was curious what other members out there are towing with their evos. Tow-***** save your comments to yourselves and start another thread on why you guys disapprove of towing with the evo. Here's my contribution:

Been looking into some < 1000lb trailers, and none of our cars are tow rated. Of all of them, the Evo is the only one that has "excess" capacity in braking and cooling.
I'm assuming the owner's manual says don't do this?
OP, do you know if this is a Curtis or ?? Or model number? Does it bolt through the spare tire well? I wouldn't be to sure that the crash beam mount isn't crucial in preventing some bending moments from pulling out on that mounting point, just sayin. But if Uhaul put it in, I guess they take on some of the liability.

im going to post this here, because i really thought thats what the topic meant, not actually towing with the evo. But whatever floats your boat!! Just please dont tow one with your evo for petes sake!

I always wondered this myself.... I've looked for a towing capacity on the evo but havent found anything. I've heard people say that you can tow up to 750 lbs stock. Might be enough for a trailer and a jet ski or 2.
