hks hi power

hks hi power

im getting a jdm bumper and i wanted to get the hks hi power cause i like the way it looks with the bumper but i seen some theads that say the hks hi power is restrictive cause it battle necks down to 2.5" just want some feedback on this before i buy it

The only time that taper will make a difference is if you had an aftermarket downpipe (3") going into that bottleneck then enlarging again because flow would be disrupted. If you are going with a cat back only, you won't notice a difference

EDIT... i just noticed that you have a full setup. Just modify the tapered area, your local muffler shop should do it for around $50

first off i just want to know if its true or not, can someone with this exhaust please let me know

i dont think muffler shops carry 3" SS piping
