you will be fine, to drive with them, there is no horror stories unless they didnt install them properly...drop them in and you will be fine, its just that you would not get the most out of the cams without the tune PERIOD, so driving to the shop will be fine an if you want to be on the "safer side" stay off the boost on the way there
