Most eBay kits will only last a year. Iv had 2 eBay kits and both died in a year. Have alot of friends with the same experience. Go with ddm tuning hid kits. Great price, great custom service and great kits. I'm on a slim kit from them and it's going on 2 years now with no problems

Got 55w for my low beams at 8500k and 35w 5000k reverse lights. Gotta say the reverse hid lights are the best exterior/light mod I have done to my car. And I got 5% tint, it lights everything up as if it was daylight when reversing...verry nice

i just got a kit from ddm tuning last week so far service has been decent but there have been problems i wouldn't buy from them again.

update i had received a bad ballast on delivery i paid express shipping so i was bummed but oh well they sent me a call tag for my bad ballast and shipped me another ballast no charge both ways.

I would buy from ddm again kit works great 55w slim ballast 3k H11 (fogs)

i got a DDM kit for my evo viii. installed no probs and looks awesome and no probs thus far. if you do order from them don't forget to order the harness as well. it's listed separate from the bulbs and ballasts. i also go 6k bulbs very similar to the bmw's hid's

If you are talkin about the relay harness, it is not needed for out cars. Those are mainly ment for older cars with thinner wire powering up halogen bulbs. Newer cars have better wiring and lower gauge wire. All you need is 1 ddm kit, either slim ballast or regular will work just fine.

Good pricing, good services, and i believe they're life time warrantee on all there kits. \:
+1 on this, my friend bought a 6000k 55w kit on monday for less than $50, slim ballast and life time warranty as well. Not really sure how you can beat that for a deal haha. I personally have two set, one of which is on my car right now and it has worked without any problems.

DDM has been hit and miss for me, I've purchased kits from them for almost all of my cars and once they sent me 4 ballasts and no bulbs, once I received the COMPLETELY wrong temp. range (I ordered 5000K, they shipped me something that was just deep purple), and once I had 2 bad batches of bulbs get here. Still, their prices are good, their warranty is great, and their customer support is...ok. I would still recommend them if for nothing other than the warranty and price.

In regards to this, I was considering converting the Evo's fogs to HID's. Can anyone confirm what bulb type they are? I'm assuming H11, but I figured I would ask.

http://www.kbcarstuff.com/ -- they are no longer a vendor here, however, I have ordered 4 kits for all my cars from them. Fast service and good plug-in-play kits.

Yes, they fog light bulbs are H11's. If you want to convert them over, you should look into the LED fogs. I've seen a couple people on here with them and they look awesome.
