You're lucky nothing else got damaged in the front, especially since you don't have the factory crash beam on...

Insurance may rape you because of that...

I hate people.

Check your vacuum lines under the hood, might have jolted something loose.

if your were rear-ended you not at fault the person that hit you is at 100 percent at fault and willing be paying for both cars. its a three way collision. make sure you get a police report and lawyer ready for back pain and neck sueing..:-)

Yes but some insurance companies may try to spin it any way they want. Just tell them your lawyer is on standby. That usually works.

Are you suggesting he lie in court and sue someone for injuries he didn't receive?

Last month my mom got re-ended in my car. It was pretty bad to were my trunk pushed in and stuck close. The body shop I took it to handled everything they only questioned me about the rear bumper, because it had no crash beam. My insurance had no problem with replacing my exhaust, bumber, trunk... etc. I just hate those reckless drivers

Ouuuch! Sad to see this happen. Hopefully their insurance will take care of the losses.

had a similar issue years ago with a 00 celica, but basically i was in the middle of a 5 car accident while we were all waiting at a red light. long story short, the guy that caused the accident (he was too busy on his cell phone to realize that we were all stopped at the red light and slammed into the person behind me that caused a chain reaction) had to pay for all of the damages including medical expenses since he was at fault.

i'm no insurance agent, but i'm assuming that you'll have a similar outcome since you didn't cause the accident.

yea same here, had a 95 civic hatch and was in the middle of a three car collision. some drunk rear ended me and sent me into the car in front at a red light. the drunk ended up trying to pursued me into not calling the police...haha, hell no! he was at fault and paid for all damages, and of course got arrested

insurance's claim adjuster will look at the car and see the cost of damage. if its just the front bumper that is damaged than they may be ok with covering it. but if it was more severe and cost more money out of their pocket like a damaged frame or something, they may blame the fact that theres no crash beam. good luck
