kelford springs

Has anyone heard that the keyword beehives that don't come with the retainers are made weaker than the ones that do come with retainers

They are probably different pressures, but that doesn't mean they are "weaker". You usually don't need retainers until your trying to rev to about 11,000 rpms

I plan on running some aggressive cams (280/276) plan on taking revs. To 8k. Trying to stay safe, is all.

I would get the springs and retainers set for them cams. They have a high intake lift. What turbo are you running? They are made for monster turbos

Running bbk full right now hopefully bbk-b in a months time. I know a couple of people with reds on these cams that make pretty good power so I wanted to try it with the b.
