Quote: Are you absolutely set on a CT9A? Since I have a IX (still bone stock!), I don't want to get rid of it, but it's hard for me to go used with these kinds of cars. I wouldn't mind the X SE though if I didn't already have a IX, seems like a pretty interesting combination.
Yeah I don't really like the new X's they dont stand out like the CT9A. As of right now I'm looking at Evo 8/9, E92 bmw (most likely 328i) or S2000.

Isn't that sort of good? You said it yourself, you got rid of the IX because it stood out to police.

I sold my 9 back in 08 and now I'm rolling on a 03 Evo. It's an addiction.

Fair enough. It IS the best-looking Evo, after all.

You can't find a car like an Evo 8/9 nowadays. I like the Evo 10's, but they are more geared towards comfort and less performance.

I'm trying to find an RS which is proving to be a tough challenge. lol

Can you clarify that a bit? Last time I checked, its acceleration numbers are very comparable to the VIIIs and IXs, though its skidpad and slalom speeds are comfortably ahead.

that's why i don't want to get rid of mine. i know that if i do, i'll end up buying another one. the next one would be one that's fully built so that i don't have to dump money into it. boost is an addiction.

Quote: What's there not to believe?!?! Don't get me wrong, the CT9A is not as comfortable as the X's far as daily driving goes but the car is a PERFECT weekend warrior! I was daily driving my IX MR for a while but its just to raw for daily driving. Its just an amazing performance car.
If thats not raw enough, I daily drive my IX RS 60 miles roundtrip everyday

Still no radio! haha

Less performance was the wrong choice of words. The Evo 8/9's are just more raw cars with less frills. It's not a slight to Evo X's because I do like the Evo X's.

I daily drove my WRX with a PPG dogbox and unsprung 6 puck clutch in Washington DC traffic. lol

Funny, certain cars are addicting, I have found that my e30 M3 and my Evo IX are cars that I plan to keep forever . On paper there are cars that are faster but I haven't found anything that makes me smile as much. Buy an Evo IX and take off the rear wing to attract the cops less!
