Quartermasters new twin disc clutch

I have not seen much info on QM's new clutch so here is the email I received from QM directly:

"Attached are the first sneak peeks at the new unit – testing has been completed and we are ramping up for production. We are now accepting orders – retail is $2056.00 and includes the Clutch Unit, Flywheel, Gear Drive Discs, Clutch Bolts and a Release Bearing. This unit is the race version – the street model will be following shortly."

I asked about the street version:

"The cost will be very similar – the difference between the two units will be mostly notice in the mass of the flywheel. There are a few other minor changes as well, but just intended to improve the driveability of the car."

Cheaper than an Exedy triple, and converts to push style with a hydraulic tob. Most likely distributer pricing will be a little less also.

you can get a good deal on it from map or SBR, give them a call.
The new race version is expected to reduce chatter while improve shifting. They also made some changes to the friction materials to extend its life.
